Power outages are commonplace today. It could be a summer thunderstorm, a limited brownout, rolling blackouts, or even the effect of a tornado or hurricane. When the power’s out, life feels like it comes to a standstill – no TV, no radio, no Internet except on battery-powered, wireless devices. It’s inconvenient, to say the least.
